Favorite Instrumental Song:
Blue Tango

by Dave S
(New Jersey)

This cheesy song from the early 50's by Leroy Anderson is probably the first instrumental I can remember.

It caught my ear and, as my musical tastes matured, I always loved jazz big band instrumentals. Jazz this ain't, but I attribute my life long love of jazz to this piece.

Anderson also wrote the better known Syncopated Clock and Typewriter song.
