Song Question:
1940s song about a stripper

I heard it playing at the USS Alabama war museum in Mobile, AL.

They pipe WWII-era tunes through the loudspeakers outside.

I can't quite remember the lyrics word for word, but it was about a dancer and the sailors/soldiers would start to cheer and she would start to strip, but "because she's a lady she always stops in time."

Does anyone have a clue?
