I heard a moderately popular song on the radio a couple of years ago while driving and said to myself "that would be a fairly unique and classy wedding song".

This was in 2008, but the song was at least a few years old (maybe substantially more).

I don't recall the name of it, or really anything else that had to do with it, just the feeling it gave.

I believe it was about a girl singing about growing up and going through life, but also giving a sense about a connection with her mother.

It was sung by a woman, I believe with an acoustic.

It was not a top billboard song but would be moderately well known.

Any help would be appreciated!
