There was a song played very little around 1988 on a rock station in Los Angeles.

It contained the words "with a rebel yell" towards the end of the song. No it was not Billy Idol.

I remembered it referring to perhaps struggle in war, maybe in civil war.

It was a male's voice. He was referring to a past war.

I would appreciate if someone out there could help me.

I never could locate this song nor have i ever heard it play again. The internet cannot locate it.
