Song Question:
Sung by a black artist,
I think,
in the 60's
- could be soul music

by WAYNE
(USA)

Some lyrics are all I have heard.

I heard it on the radio the other day. It's not played that often. It might be on one of the oldies station like kearth.

Some of the lyrics sound like this:

"Can't believe what you're doing to me girl.... even though my heart aches"... something like that - may not be exact.

The chorus or next verse goes like this, I am pretty sure, it is...

"I can never make you happy... oh.." - then some more lyrics I don't understand... then "if I didn't love you so, it wouldn't make it so very hard to go...."

"I love you so, oh" screams "I love you so..."

It's a great song. I just don't know who the artist is.

Can you help?
