Beware of catchy tunes!

I heard it on the wireless, in 1972, 1973; it was catchy, mellow, one of those songs you can easily relate to a jingle in a commercial.

Male singer, very young. Guitars, bass guitars.

The lyrics I remember are:

"Cali... California calling ( or was it coming?) California hey...I know my way ".

The singer then mentioned a girl in Disneyland.

That's all. Plus, I am not an English mothertongue, so who knows whether I understood the lyrics well?

I haven't given up my hope of finding it, yet I can't help warning you all: "Beware of catchy tunes! One fine day they'll exact their revenge!"
