90s/early 2000s high pitched, female, ballad song. Heard it as a movie soundtrack, but can't remember name

It's incredibly high pitched from beginning to end, and it sounds like there's a fiddle in the background. It's so high-pitched that I could never make out any of the words.

The woman's voice sounds Irish (?) and its starts of very softly, and then the key sharply increases when you get to the chorus. The chorus ends with a fiddle sounding like duuum, dum, dum, duuum, dum, dum.

I think the lyrics were very descriptive of nature. There may have been mention of the sun shining down on a river/valley?

Sorry that this is so vague, and thanks in advance!
