Black teen house party, old man dance

The video starts with a nerdy looking black teen with glasses learning a old fashioned type dance from an old man that seems to be his grandfather. He then goes to a house party filled with other teens and he's interested in a girl but is too shy to talk to her, as she is with another guy. The guy she is with seems like the popular guy who can dance, and he makes fun of the nerdy kid. The nerdy kid then stands up for himself by doing the dance he learned from his grandfather, which the other kids at the party actually like and start to imitate. Throughout the video, there are clips of a white male singer and a black guitarist at the same party, and I think one of the singer's lyrics is "shoes on my feet". At the end of the video, the teen has won over the other kids at the party who are all now doing the dance that he learned, and he wins the girl. They leave the party together as his grandfather walks by.
