Country song with sad violin/fiddle outro

Male singer, has these pre-verse guitar hits with drums and an organ that go down in key, then up near the second verse beginning, as well as at the very end before the violin.

some of the lyrics: "i'll still let you in/it's sad to see my face on a magazine/if you don't want to stay, honey that's ok, did you make it in the rain?" Then it does that rise again, and sort fades off like "a day in the life" by the beatles near pauls part before he comes in, or Elliott smiths "everything means nothing to me"-the very end.

Then the violin or fiddle starts solo with this real sad arrangement.
