Find A Childrens Song:
Cock-a-doodle-Doo (Now get Out of Bed)

Children's Song:

Does anyone know who sang this children's song?

It was found on an old audio tape in the early 1990s but I have searched high and Low without being able to find out who sings it.

I am hoping to find it on CD as the audio tape is almost worn out.

It is the best song ever for getting children up in the morning - very upbeat.

The singer is male, north American, and he sings with a country & western flavor. The lyrics are as follows:

This song's for the birds
The early birds....

The signet sounds like a car horn
Never could coo like a duck
The duck swims down under water
The stork brings bundles of fun
The penguin wears a tuxedo
No ordinary Zulu

But me I'm a down hoe country boy rooster
I say cock-a-doodle Doo

Cock-a-doodle-Doo
Yeah that's what I said
Cock-a-doodle-Doo
Now get out of bed
Here on the farm you don't need no alarm
You got
Cock-a-doodle-Doo

Come on band!
Don't lay an egg
If a rooster crow, how come a crow dont roost?

The ? stands there on one foot
The ostrich hides his head in the sand
The parakeet talks up the blue swing
The peacock keeps his tail feathers grand
The mother hen get a little nervous
Worrying brother Brulu

But me I'm a down hoe country boy rooster
I say cock-a-doodle Doo

Cock-a-doodle-Doo
Yeah that's what I said
Cock-a-doodle-Doo
Now get out of bed
Here on the farm you don't need no alarm
You got
Cock-a-doodle-Doo
