Find A Song:
90`s (?) Mystery Surf-Song

by greetingsmyspawn

This is probably the best surf/stoner darkwave thing ever produced, yet I can`t find anything on it.

Style/Tempo; Slow, relentless bass rhythm, long.

Lyrics; dark, destructive sung maybe in baritone; as I recall it includes the lyrics

"Little pink torpedoes line the beaches"
"I saw murder at the top of the surf"
"I saw John Wayne hanging ten"
"Little blonde groupies giving head to heroes"

Heard this on John Peel`s BBC radio show probably in the 1990`s but I can`t be sure

I had been thinking this was Psycho Surfin' by Southern Culture on the Skids but could not find it anywhere. Can't find a copy of it anywhere either. But when I was a DJ at my college radio station I played this song a lot.

Glad someone else had this memory. Now I need to find out why SCOTS isn't selling it anywhere.

I have this song too and don't who it is. Taped it off college radio in the late 80's I think.
