Find A Song:
beautiful jazzy-rock song I heard in 70's

In the 70's, here in Florida, we had a radio station called Quad 102 1/2. It was based in Sarasota, I think.

This station would on OCCASION, but not a song that began with a haunting piano {solo} opening.

Into the song, after intro, a mellow voiced, male vocalist opened with lyrics that I only vaguely recall,
though I remember melody, and know I loved this.

Opening, he'd sing: know....I'm in love with You-ou-ou...B-B-B-Baby. Further into song, the lyrics {ones I recall}, were: You've got the power in your little hands..You've got the power over me-eeee{long drawn out me}.

also: you've got me crying over you-{long drawn out youuuuu}, -ooo-ooo-oo-oooou..

I have searched for YEARS...MANY years, since hearing song in 70's as a teen.

I have pretty much given up hope in finding.

I have NO CLUE who...but voice kind of sounded like Elton John, though I am pretty sure not. If anybody knows?

Thank you! MadMaven/Terri
