Find A Song:
Desperate to Know this Song From the 80's

by Carebear

Okay. So I have no lyrics for this song except for a part where I think she says, "It's no surprise. I can see it in your eeye-eeeeyes!" right before she goes into the chorus. And at the end of the chorus I think she says, "Your love to," or something similar to that.

The singer is female. The song is like a smooth rock, serious relationship song (it sounds most similar to this song, "I'm Not in Love" by 10CC and maybe a little like, "These Dreams" by Heart. And, "Eternal Flame" by The Bangles). She sings the song in an emotional, heartfelt, angelic tone of voice. Her voice isn't heavy or rough in anyway.

I'm pretty sure it's an 80's song but it could be from the early 90's or late 70's though I highly doubt it. I have the melody to the song but it's too bad I can't write it but I can give you an idea of the rhythm of the chorus.

It's like, "BAAAH...Bah-BAAAH...Bah-Bah-Baaah...BAH-Baaah...Bah-Bah. Bah-Bah. Bah-Bah. BAAAH. Bah-Bah-Bah-BAAAAH...Bah-Bah-Bah-BAAAAAH. Then that's repeated.

I've heard this song on the radio in the past. Most likely on this smooth rock station that plays in my area.

I hope this is enough info. Thanks! :)
