Find A Song:
French rock n roll duet - seagull intro?

by James

French Rock Duet:

The song is in the French languange.

It is a duet (male and female vocalists).

It has an upbeat 60's French rock feel, military style drumming with a simple major chord progression. Laid back and cool-sounding verses with a repetative and catchy chorus.

Imagine Louie Louie being sung as a duet by Jacques from the Rive Gauche and Joséphine a sophsticated, stunningly beautiful, brunette. It's got that kind of rock and roll swing but with a bit of sophistication.

No idea about the lyrics, I haven't heard this song since 2006 and could only pick out about 30% of the words then. To give it some context the lyrics probably refer to some sort of affair as it is French.

I seem to remember a slightly too long saxaphone solo.

MOST IMPORTANTLY the song starts off with an intro of waves and seagulls. I seem to recall it goes on a bit and then the drums kick in.

I might be a bit hazy on the details, but I think you'll know the song I mean if you've heard it.
