Older Song:

I heard this song probably around 2005 maybe 2006. I dont know if thats when it came out.

Its a young black female r&b singer.

The video is set in her apartment that looks old nyc apartment victorian loft.

The bedroom has double french doors, and a victorian style chase thats set right at the opening of the doors. I think there was some clothing draped over the back.

He man - who says nothing - is sitting on the bed at first.

Shes singing like a battle with her self to let him go, but the video the singer and man are arguing. Then shes in the bathroom with the door locked. I think the bathroom was green - victorian style again.

Shes against the door singing - this time shes singing about why she wants to keep him.

Hes on the bed, then leaves while shes in the bathroom.

She comes out and back to the battle part about why he should go and she will be better off. I think there were red sheets on the bed.

It was set at night. The apartment has dim lighting and i think it was raining.

And im almost positive she had a head wrap, i think it was white.

Some detail might be off. I have only seen the video once and i fell in love with the song.. but forgot over the years and then just one day popped in my head and has been dring me crazy ever since.

I have no idea who it is by or how it goes, but i know i really like it.

I dont think it was erikyah badu, but i could be mistaken. and i think i seen it on MTV Soul Channel again i think in 2005, but the song could be older.
