When you leave one day,
you say that, you say that, you say…
you love me madly,…
like a poppy on the street
Walking just a magic go around
but I don’t understand
one day… I sit down on the ground
play nothing

I've found the original - Charlie Daniels Band Te John, Grease, & Wolfman - 1972 - but I had an alternate version - same tempo - not his fast 1974 version- can anyone identify?
