I assume it's from the 90's, bad song, female singer...
This will probably be the hardest question ever asked on this site.
I work at a grocery store and the same 100 songs play over and over and over and over and over and they all seem to be THE WORST 90's slow jam songs ever purchased in bulk for a penny. There are random country songs and a few, not country, Taylor Swift song, so honestly saying it's from the 90's is my best guess.
I ASSUME it's a female singer, though I can barely hear it through the speakers in the back room where I am most of my time.
OK so, all I know is that it's not that slow or that fast of a song and the chorus SOUNDS like she's saying "it's not a hooker" over and over - MAYBE "I'm not a hooker"? or "it's not a hook-up?" or "it's my hook-up?" She/he/they repeat this four or eight times going down and up with it in a matter-of-fact way that drives me insane because I don't know what they're saying! I could care less who sings it or what song it is or where it came from, I just want to know - no, NEED to know - what in the world they are saying!
Thank you, any help is appreciated.
