Late 80's First 90's song

by james

Hi, a friend of mine doesn't remember the title of a song he listened when he was young. Here's some clue:

1) late 80's - first 90's, much probably 90's
2) black haired female singer, maybe a little chubby
3) the music video was in black & white with a glowish effect (not sure about this)
4) the song is a slow ballad ("Total eclipse of the heart" like), 4/4, major key, the chorus has few chords, probably only two (ex: C / F in C key)
5) IMPORTANT: during the chorus the singer vocalize in a strange way, like Dolores 'O Riordan of The Cranberries

Not every point are necessary true, but some are (specially the 5) )

It's not Gypsy Woman
by: james

No, it isn't Gypsy Woman, the song I'm searching for is a slow ballad like Total eclipse of the heart, not a dance one.
Thanks anyway. :)
