Late 90s(?) music video- overflowing bathtub, boyfriend breaking in, girl turns into butterflies

by Devra

A pop song, young woman singing, lyrics have something to do with distance between girl and her boyfriend, starts with both in a white bed, she ends up in the bath tub, boyfriend tries to break down door when he sees water pouring into the hall, she turns into butterflies and nothing's there when he finally opens the door. The girl may havee been idea what the lyrics were, probably first seen on aol music, which was probably pretty limited...
Thanks in advance for any help! It's been a mystery to me for at least a year.

I watched this video with my sister like 5 years ago or more, and have been trying to find it since but I couldn't remember anything but the butterfly thing so I couldn't explain

found it!

María Mena, Just Hold Me, from 2005-2006. She's Norwegian, so the album probably wasn't played very much in the US, unfortunately. Hope this helps!

I'm looking too

I would add that it has a very haunting, sad vocal run as a refrain, possibly ending with "so alone". Minor key: LLTD/MLTD/TSDT:S. I only saw the video once, in about 2012. I heard it on the radio yesterday. Soundhound doesn't recognize the refrain when I hum it, unfortunately.
