Looking for metal singer Dead Elvis

by big z

Probably a german band, singing a slow lyric goth like song about passing to the afterlife.

Singer is heavily tattoed, looks like Elvis, and sounds like Elvis.

The song is maximum 10 years old.

It had an official video clip, shot in monochrome, on a river side.

If you know it, let me know too

Found it!

I stumbled across this page while trying to remember this band also. I pretty much remembered the same info as you. It drove me insane for aaaages trying to search for them, so for anyone else looking, the band is Beloved Enemy and the song is The Other Side.

Not Volbeat
by: Anonymous

Thanks for the help, I checked the band, but it's definitely not Volbeat.
Also I'm 100% sure, that the band we're talking about is from Germany. Maybe the singer called "Dead Elvis" is a guest singer. I'm not sure. And in the mentioned song there is also a woman who sings.
And not to forget. Volbeat plays some dirty rock like Motörhead, or Chrome Division. The band whwere "Dead Elvis" sings is much more a gothic-metal band.
Anyway, thanks for the suggestion and Volbeat is great! :)
