My favorite instrumental songs:
Axel F - Harold Faltermeyer. Fun synthesizer-heavy theme from Beverly Hills Cop.
Baby Elephant Walk – Henry Mancini. So fun and playful. I can just imagine a cute baby elephant playing.
Cut The Cake - Average White Band. From the disco days. Fun, fun, fun!
The Entertainer (from the movie, The Sting) – Classic piano song.
Fifth Of Beethoven, A - Walter Murphy & the Big Apple Band. A disco "version" of the Beethoven classic. Fun!
Fire On High – great instrumental from the Electric Light Orchestra
Green Onions – Booker T. and MG’s. Classic from the 60s.
Hawaii Five-O (from the t.v. show). Classic.
Hooked On Classics – Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Fun versions of classical songs all strung together.
In The Mood (Instrumental) - Glenn Miller. Great song from the big band days. Love it!
James Bond Themes – Some great songs have come from the James Bond movies.
Lily Was Here – Candy Dulfer and David A. Stewart. Great saxophone.
Miami Vice Theme – Jan Hammer. Another fun, synthesizer-heavy instrumental.
Mission Impossible Theme. Really cool.
Music Box Dancer – Frank Mills. Cute song.
Peter Gunn (Instrumental) - Duane Eddy. Love it. Love the version by Art Of Noise also.
Pink Panther Theme – Henry Mancini. Classic, fun song.
Popcorn - Hot Butter. Kind of silly, but fun!
Rock And Roll Part 2 - Gary Glitter. Great glam rock song now played at many sporting events.
Rockit (Instrumental) - Herbie Hancock. Great "futuristic" song from the 1980s. Remember the video? The part I remember most are the mechanical legs walking around.
Star Wars Theme/Cantina Band - Meco
Tequila - The Champs. Classic. Energetic. Great saxophone!
Walk-Don't Run – The Ventures. Love the surf songs.
Wipe Out – The Safaris. Again, love the surf songs.
- Most of these are fun and upbeat!
