Nathalie (english)

by Bob WIlliams
(Kenai, AK USA)

This song is about a french man finding a Russian female guide "Nathalie) in Moscow.
The song was made famous by French singer "Gilbert Becaud" in about 1964. I heard
a version sung by a French singer in English about 1989-1998. He used some different lyrics, however, the song had the same melody and told the same story.
I can recall a different line near the end ( I think)

"If you you should ever leave Moscow and come to visit
Paree, I fear you'll be there for a lifetime, Nathalie....Nathalie"
