Slow indie song duo in a dark room with wood flooring

by Shawn

I can't remember the lyrics, song name or band name. The song was wonderful and emotional. I had the video in my youtube favorites for years until it vanished.

The band may have more members but in the video it was a duo. A man was playing guitar (possibly a fender telecaster) and a woman in the distance was playing a snare drum. The guitarist was singing.

The song was slow and haunting. The video took place in a large, mostly empty, industrial studio space with brick or concrete walls and wood flooring. The lighting was soft and dark. I think there were shots of a television playing clips from the old black and white documentary Nanook of the North.

I probably first listened to this song at least 5-6 years ago and I seem to remember it being a couple years old at that time. I think the band was from the midwest.

Any help tracking down this song would be much appreciated. Thanks!
