song about miracles - played on secular radio

Hello, I have been Googling a song/artist and I cannot locate it, so I hope you can help. It was a pop song, played on secular radio (probably) during the late 1970's or early 1980's.

Partial lyrics - "Miracles, there is nothing that's impossible." / "Safe and sound. All God's children are safe and sound." Those are the only parts I'm sure of.

The tempo was slow and flowing.
Female artist.
No heavy instruments or unusual sounds.
secular radio
played on US stations

At first, I thought it was Charlene Oliver who recorded the hit song, "I've Never Been to Me." I couldn't find it on her discography. So I ruled her out. It may have been recorded by a popular female artist around the same time with a very high pitched voice (like Mariah Carey,) but I cannot recall her name, or the songs she recorded. I'd love to find the "miracles" song.

Thank you!
Debby
