song from the 80's, possibly a one hit wonder?

by Nicole
(Iowa)

The artist a male singer.

The video starts off with the male singer slowly strumming an acoustic guitar and singing “You can never live in L.A.”

Then he sings, “Last night I thought about you and me ….” Then he sings, “You never call me. You never call me on the telephone. You never call me and I’m always home”.

The singer then walks down a bowling alley lane and kicks the bowling pins. A security guard grabs the singer and throws him out of the bowling alley.

The singer then repeats the following verse several times, “You never call me. You never call me on the telephone. You never call me and I’m always home”.

This music video ends with girls dancing in unison to this song in a studio and the girls are fully clothes with water raining on them."
