Song in which woman speaks at beginning with an accent

by Robin

I heard it during a dance recital recently in Ottawa, Canada.
She speaks English with some sort of accent in which she enunciates some of the words. I can't remember what she said, but it wasn't too long. And she didn't just speak, it was almost like singing , but not quite. I think she spoke 2 lines. And there are trumpets in the song as well. Had a bit of a beat to it.
Know what this song is?

I'm replying to my own post.
After considerably sleuthing, I was finally able to find the band/song.
The band is: Sam and the Womp
The song: bom bom

She does speak at the beginning:
I'm the cat with the base and drum
Going 'round like bom bom bom

And she has an accent because the lead singer is from a Scandinavian country (I think).

Question solved!!
