A sad somewhat soulful kind of song.
Okay so I heard this song at work and I have no idea what station they listen to but the majority of the artists are African American.
I also know that most of the songs are pretty old but there have been some more recent ones. If this helps with a time frame
they have played I got soul by James Brown, My girl by the Temptations, and Just got paid by Johnny Kemp.
The song starts out with a guitar that plays throughout the entire song. It is sung by a woman whose voice is pretty soft throughout the song.
I remember something about blue eyes and showing everyone who you really are, but I'm not entirely sure.
The song is a medium tempo but the singer is soulful and drags out in the ways she sings.
I would go as far to say that this song is in a minor key due to the sad sound.
That's all I have for you to work with.
