Song Request: Can't figure out what song this is but saw the music video

I saw a music video that started of w/ a dark haired man sitting on a bench next to a sort of tin man.

The dark haired man had two lines drawn on his upper lip representing a mustache.

His love interest had dark hair as well.

The setting changed to pirates on a boat, and then a 1950s dinner.

The only lyrics i can remember are "I don't need you" and "if this was the 1950s" or something along those lines.

Can you help me figure out what the song is?
