The song is a ballad. It sounds like "Stormy" by the Classics VI.

by Eddie Garcia
(Wayne, New Jersey, USA)

The song was played in the USA on the old Lite.FM 106.7 easy listening radio format back in the 80s and 90s. It's a male crooner. I'm not sure if the singer was a solo act or part of a group.

Part of the chorus has the word "Hey, Hey, Hey" as a medium high note. The song is kind of a slow tempo ballad. The voice was richly deep and manly.

I'm not exactly sure what the song was about. I very vaguely remember that it might have had to do about a woman who wanted to leave and he wanted her to stay. But I'm not really sure. When the song was played on the radio I always caught it by the time it was ending. But it was enough for me to like the song. The music was very pleasant.
