Twisted Up

Hi there, if anyone could help me with this song, I'd be grateful

Era: Last 3-5 years:
Music: medium tempo song with a French/tango theme, kind of cabaret-ish.
Genre: Pop (I assume) as I heard it it a pub
Singer: Female with black hair, band was male.
Film clip: Lots of red, lady singing into mike

Main line was something like "because you're something something something something all strung out/choked out/twisted up/caught up/caught out".

The rest of the song was the woman singing about a gentleman taking the woman out on dates and to certain places- he may have been cheating on her? The idea of it was that he could not handle the woman or women he was in a relationship with.

Any ideas?
