80ies melancholic, very slow song sung by a deep male voice
My father did have an LP/MP? with the song in the 80ies,
should be american, the singer is male with curly dark hair and a beard as far as I remember.
It is best described as melancholic pop, little instruments, minimalistic, probably with cello or violin in the background.
I always thought that Lana del Ray copied the style somehow.
The title I am looking for has the refrain "don't you goooo, don't you goooo my sun", in between it's nearly recitative style, love song for sure.
