90s female artist song with acoustic guitar on child abuse
It's driving me crazy that I can't find this song. I don't think it was ever released as a single, and existed as the last track on a popular album released in the 90s.
The singer is female, accompanied by just an acoustic guitar. She sings in a light, simple, clear and young voice as a child who is mistreated.
The song stands out from the rest of the album which is a pop/rock album, and none of the other songs are accompanied only by an acoustic guitar.
I thought it might be Natalie Imbruglia or The Cranberries or maybe Alanis Morrisette, but not finding it so far.
I was very taken by this song 20 years ago, and am now trying to find it again! Please help.
