It's been driving me nuts for a . . L . . . O. . . . N. . . . G. . time ! . . .

This Heartbeat was first aired on 30th May 2004, last shown on October 2016, and classified as Season 13 Episode 24. The title is ' Double Trouble.'

I'm pretty sure this is a Motown song as it has an intro of twangy guitars like the Four Tops backings, and moves onto 3 or 4 excellent black girl singers sounding very like the Supremes or Marvelletes with beautiful violins in the background.

The lyric sounds something like ' That's why I'm lonely.'

To help you if you watch it, the clip is near the end of the episode and the song starts up when Mr. Elder (played by Ken Drury) is just being led away under arrest as a bigamist to a panda car, by the sergeant and a constable.

The scene then fades swiftly into Oscar Blaketon and Alf Ventris both looking through a letter box for a man called ' Bagger,' to see if he's home. (You may just recognise Bagger as an older James Ellis, originally Sgt. Bert Lynch in Z Cars).

Reckon you can you save my sanity

Please . . .
