Help! I’ve been looking for this song/video for years!! I remember seeing the video on TV (probably CMT?) in, I believe, the late 90s.
From what I remember (I was like 10 – 12), it was a single male singer. He was white, late 30s or 40s, looked a little rough around the edges (more of a gritty country boy type (like Brantley Gilbert, not a clean cut type like George Straight). Wearing a cut off flannel button up, jeans, and cowboy hat with really bent brim?
I think the whole video (or at least the majority) was on a river bank or pond. (I remember trees and pretty sure alligators or crocs?)
There is also a woman. Long and lean, of course. White chick with brown hair, daisy dukes, of course. Dancing in front of or in the water? It’s possible it was “raining” in the video, too? The song is about a woman and a possible lyric or title relating to “something in the water”?
It’s definitley not a slow song nor mushy love song. It’s a standard “guy thinks a woman is hot” country song. Something about admiring this woman and how there must be something in the water down in the south.
